Everything Old is New Again

Yesterday I thought of this piece which has been up in the attic for a lot of years. Dragged it down, washed it off and worked on it a little more.

I think the parts may be better than the whole. A few close ups:

Here it was in its attic state. I think it was supposed to be a big mandala in the middle and four little ones around it.

Happy Monday!

Ooo, now I like this a LOT! Glad you brought it out of the attic. I was in a museum on Saturday and saw a piece kind of like this (although not as good by far) and I just stood there, riveted. These assembled pieces really do invite such gazing and study. Very nice!

How interesting, up close and as a whole, actually. Great idea to rework one’s work. It is fun to play and do – as well as look at. Coolness!

It is a very cool 3D collage! I think you should hang it in a prominent spot!

I don’t know about that, Teresa…my husband doesn’t seem too fond of it. But thanks for the vote of support!

I love how this matches Xenobia’s mosaic. It’s almost like a pinball machine too. What do these men know? It’s great!

I know. Once again, in sync. Yes, I kind of like this although it is a hot mess. I don’t know what made me go up to the attic for it yesterday.

I like this. May I ask what the inspiration was for this? The colours remind me of Tibetan art work
