Food as Art

We went to a vegan pop-up dinner by our friend Chef Sally Owens. Thought I’d share her beautiful work. First course: winter squash and celeriac bisque, cracked pepper creme fraiche, pickled radish and leek. 

Second course: herb cashew cheese, sweet tomato chutney, Brussels sprout and kale slaw, flax cracker, rosemary cream.  

Third course: porcini risotto, puréed greens, English pea and almond croquette, braised rutabaga and parsnip, shiitake bacon.  

Fourth course: chocolate mousse tartlet, orange marmalade, marshmallow creme, candied pepitas.  

If I could cook like this I think I’d go vegan. Very interesting and creative.
