I love the collage, so full of magic and exploding with life. And I must say I still think of antlers as branches growing out of a deer’s head. Oh dear. Anyway. And then the poem and the combination of the art and poem. Just wonderful and really made me feel – hopeful and cheerful, like a new day starting, because this looks like the beginning of creation to me – everything flying out into the world to find its place.

Thanks Claudia. I hadn’t really articulated it, but it did give me hope to put this together, because, Life! So amazing, and it keeps regenerating and it doesn’t need us humans at all.

Wow, Claudia said that so much better than I was about to. I love this. So much to take in and absorb. Of course, I’m drawn to the many faces, but I love the breaks in the action here too, the areas of rest for the eye that make the detailed sections with so much life all the more appealing. Really love this! And again, beautiful pairing with your verse. What ground are you using here? I like that there’s even texture in it. Really beautiful, Kerfe. πŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ’š

Claudia nailed it. I most enjoyed the antlers and the word association of crown and thorns. Your crown of antler thorns is so much more attractive (and pagan) than the other more lugubrious kind.
