Questions

kalamazoo s

What is the color of mourning?
morning
of empty spaces, and Where?
wear
black, but it has no reply.
Why?
just questions and sorrow.
Tomorrow
will remain unfilled,
killed,
killed.  More shots from another gun.
When?
Again.

Another echo poem.

great job on this one! Such a powerful message in words and art. You are such a deep thinker – I love it! What is life for if not for deep, meaningful thoughts.

Good one. I’m glad you sent it in. I like the double echo effect, in the rhyme and in the repetition of our stupidities.

This one is brutal. In the best of ways. Thank you, Kerfe. Your work belongs in museums and would draw amazing crowds. Everything you do….would make quite a symphony. Again, thank you.

I agree with you that people have been too silent about the Kalamazoo incident. When are the sane people going to win over the rabid gun-nuts?
