Thresholds

Another
syncopated chord
opening
exits and
beginnings.  What lies between
melody and sound?

Smoldered light.
The shadow reaching,
uncontained.
A mirrored
signature reflecting time.
Voices encrypted.

On the brink,
luminosities
colliding.
Beyond now
and here, stars sing the glowing
edges of preludes.
