Postcard Fiction: Journey

Jane Dougherty’s prompt this week was a fairytale journey.  The young man and horse looked real enough, but the children had an interesting transparency.

Wishes and horses…

We ride between two worlds
far and away
flying magical birds made of stars.

I saw them as children, but I think they’re supposed to be fairies, so your poem fits perfectly.
