Fractals
Reflections
absorb memories,
reshaping
voices and loose
ends in recurrent waves. Light,
a fissured mirror.

I see water in your art piece. And the poetry is a perfect complement to Sue’s prompt. How contemplative. 😊

Thanks Cynthia, that’s what I was looking for. Water is very contemplative for me.

Another beautiful interpretation, Kerfe. The artwork looks like the rippling reflections of water, but could equally be the entwining, overlapping or memory and emotion.

Thanks Sue. As I keep saying, your images are full of different places to explore.

Is this painted? It almost looks like tissue paper with its layers. I like it.

Gouache on watercolor paper, rinsed, and then I sponged the wet colors with paper towels. Not my original intent at all…just follow it where it goes.

The more I look at the image, the more mesmerizing it gets. The shapes connect and interact. They could almost be figures in a circle dance.

Thanks Merril. I like the idea of a dance. I was definitely thinking of circles.

This made me shiver a bit, especially those voices and loose ends. And the fissured light…
