Grateful
Our Lady is a fertile one
beneath the sun
she blooms complete
from head to feet.
She looks around her with delight
at every sight
at up and down
at verb and noun.
Her dreams have planted magic seeds
to meet all needs
in open hands
good luck will land.
For the dVerse prompt of blessings, a minute poem and junk mail collage for Mother Earth.

Lovely blessing. Your collage makes me think of Kahlo.

We leave the 8th, but I’ve got a lot to get done before then too. Sounds like you had a good time in Florida!

I love your quirky, fertile lady, and I very much like the line “in open hands good luck will land”… sort of an image your way to success approach.

Thanks Beverly. I think it sometimes helps to be ready for those gifts life tosses our way.

I started writing a few poems using this form after seeing your poem. I like how it sounds. I plan to use the minute form as a prompt for this Thursday’s dVerse Form for All. Thanks for writing a wonderful poem using this form.

Thanks Frank. I discovered the form through Jane Dougherty…I’m sure you know her, she posts on dVerse sometimes too. You guys do a great job…wish I had more time to participate more often!
