Three guys in suits standing on a mountaintop. The one on the left is my father. A strange photo I found and I don’t know why they were standing in this spot.

Here’s the original photo.

Either that or they were three guys appraising the property or maybe from the bank. Maybe it was looking over Route 80 which my father helped to build (in a way, through appraising all the properties it went through.

OMG! You don’t know why they are standing there? WHAT A VIEW! Wonder where it was taken. Love the painting, Nina. What was the medium used? Handsome dudes.

Pencil, watercolor, gouache, Neo Color. I wish I knew where it was and why they were there.

It sort of reminds me of a family photo from Stone Mountain GA. from a vacation we took in the 1960’s. Same bare ground and us perched really high above the surroundings. Funny how this reminds me of something I have not thought of for… decades.

I think the weirdness has something to do with them wearing suits. Great unintended photo. I only just spotted the figure bending down at the back on the left. Stranger and stranger. David Lynch could make a whole tv series outta this!

Wow–so many stories. Your painting has a surrealistic feel. It’s like a dreamworld. Really wonderful.
The photo is kind of odd. We’re watching the new “Twin Peaks,” and it makes me think of that.
