Moses and Cleo

An oldie from 2006. Both of these dogs are gone now. They were sitting under my copper beech tree and I painted them for posterity. They were good dogs, especially Moe who was found in a park one winter night.

Beech tree isn’t having a great year. Not as leafy as usual–usually when you sit under it you can’t see the sky. Very sparse but I still love sitting under it.

Strange weather this year. My basil did great in June and now has hardly grown at all in July…but the Rose of Sharon is all of a sudden full of blooms!

The dog on the left reminds me of our dog Queeny. She is gone now also.

I hope for more details of the story of Moe found in the park. Another watercolor?
