Trampoline
Down at the Jersey shore they used to have these inground trampoline places. My sister and I had never jumped on trampolines and we used to like going. I found a picture of me jumping with my sister in the foreground.
Here’s the photo probably taken by my father. We’ve been going through a lot of stuff and I continually find myself intrigued by old photos. I went through all my colored pencils and arranged them in color order in two containers; also sharpened them. Colored pencil on black paper is a fun way to draw.
What a sweet time. I too love the old pictures. I agree, colored pencil on black paper has a beautiful texture and dimension.

I love this drawing! I went through old photos yesterday, too. I found an album I haven’t looked through in years and photos I’d forgotten about. Memories, huh? 🌞

1967? We must be the same age because I had everything you are wearing, including the hair band! Good times…

I love the technique and the story and the art. It made me think of how a high school friend had a trampoline and I rode my bike 30 minutes over there to meet friends and jump, when I was in high school. Love the softness of this image.
