Draw-a-Bird Day: Birdlings are Back

road to nowhere s

The Motions of Molecules

Appearing
suddenly,
the patterns compose
themselves.  Shapes
of silence.  Supplicants to
the definitive.

Happy MOVE Kerfe! Hope it is wonderful. We are helping our oldest son and daughter-in-law move this weekend into their new home for their growing family, and it is CLOSER to us – YAY! They will be only 10 minutes away. I could not be more thrilled. Love your bird collage.

That collage is amazing, and “Supplicants to the definitive.” I need to ponder that a bit. . .
    Good luck with your move!

The packing, and then unpacking, of a new nest is more trying than the out-and-then-in. Perhaps this will be the definitive move.

      Thanks Ken.
I think not the last, but you never know! It’s daunting how much you accumulate. When I was 22, my roommate and I just carried all our stuff up the street with help from a few friends…

I LOVE this. Words and birds. Best in your new nest. Oh dear. Look how I’m sounding. Like I’m joking. No. I am serious. I hope for an easy move and a happy new home. !!!

Wonderful collage, Kerfe. I love the birlings. And fun to see the road motif again – so much landscape in one little piece of paper – it creates such an interesting sense of motion. Good luck with your move. 🙂

Good luck with the move and look forward to more of your work in the future. This one has an uplifting effect, a sort of more light-hearted Max Ernst!
