If you can see yourself as a piece of the whole, and you can imagine where you fit in, I’d say the answer is, yes.

It’s often hard to get outside ourselves. That’s my biggest problem for sure.

I think the hardest part is cutting ourselves adrift from other people. We’ve never islands, there’s always someone whose happiness or otherwise impinges on our feelings.

Your collages always look like they include fabric to me (in the photos, at least)–like they’re quilted.
