Quandaries of Wayfaring
wild
winter
branches that
conjure open
the cloisters of clouds–
revenant voyagers
securing figments that reflect
tomorrow’s revolving always–
reformulated problems of light
that pirouette–changelings shifting the sun
An etheree for Colleen’s #tanka Tuesday with synonyms for haunt and spell.

Beautiful, Kerfe. I like:” the cloisters of clouds–
revenant voyagers”
We’re having wild autumn right now–the wind is howling.
I like your watercolor, too. It makes me think of one of those light-catcher glass ornaments–and maybe there’s some symbolism in that.

Thanks Merril. I was definitely thinking of the clouds and branches catching and manipulating light.
It’s definitely not a pleasant day to be out, but not as bad as I expected. Although I can see I’ll be sweeping up a lot of leaves in the near future!

I love the iridescence of the painting.

It seems so expressive… but that might be the way you used your words. 😉 ❤

Words and artwork always wonderful. (And I love it when you use a lot of blue!)
