asks nothing
of its travels,
expanding into
mosaic-lined pathways.
The way is tangled, over
grown.  It breathes green—magnified in
superimposition, molecules
scattering space into layers of songs.
Questions shrink calcified, mineralized,
undone and unspoken, visceral,
lost, unsettled by reflection.
All directions are the same.
The heart beats mesmerized,
soundless and riddled
with light, cocooned,

So many paths and branches to follow, here, yet all of them leading to the center.

I love all those wandering mineral and vegetal images, and how appropriate that they should take the form of a blue-green elk and a passenger pigeon 🙂

Your artwork always bewitches me with the colors and shapes. I could write a scene for my book from these images. LOL! Your words remind me of a meditation… at least what I see behind my closed eyes. In fact, when I realign my chakras, the colors from your paintings are what I see. How splendid!! ❤
