quick and not yet dead
these visions that hover
inside the unconsciousness of my head

these visions that hover
a journey of blood and cells
an expanding screen of color
orbiting in waves and spells

a journey of blood and cells
the Other I am not
orbiting in waves and spells
multitudes circulating beyond thought

The Other I am not
shrinking in sense and form
multitudes circulating beyond thought
synapses returning unborn

The quick, the dead and the repetitive. All these colours going round and round. Magic.

I don’t know how you do it….. but you continue to blow me away with these! The painting catch my eye right away, and then the words completely draw me in! BRAVO!

When I saw the prompt, I thought you’d write a pantoum. πŸ™‚ This is wonderful. All those thoughts and colors circling around! It’s intriguing to consider “the Other I am not” in the midst of this–like a sci-fi story, if it could be tapped.
