Weekend work 4/26/2021

Kerfe likes my landscape. She saw this last week and wanted to see how it would come out. I’m not sure this one is done. I messed around with it a lot this weekend.

I messed a lot with this one too. Again, I don’t know if it’s done. Editing it on my iPhone, again, changes the color (well I manipulate the color). With all of these paintings I’d rather they be seen in person. I am happy to show them here and I appreciate the support of all who like and comment! Kerfe knew when we started this blog that it would be a good way to get our art there. Thank you all!

And have a good week. Nina

I love how bold your images are – unafraid of colour.

Love the landscape, especially the hills and the trees. The dragonfly looks happy and oblivious to the danger.

I love these. There is a fairy tale feeling to them for me. I really think you have opened a door into a new room in your mind, your painting is showing this. I know this sounds odd but that is how I visualize it, you have stepped into a new place. Wow! I enjoy what you are doing so much.

Thank you Claudia. I don’t know where these are coming from but a new room in my mind sounds about right. I used to have a fear of white paper. Painting on black paper just feels right. I hope to keep it up for a while. N.
