#Tastetherainbow with Thursday Doors
suspended
between, doors open
to flowers–
play of pink
mixed with marigold—thresholds
inviting blue skies
A shadorma for Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday Color Poetry writing prompt and Dan Antion’s Thursday Doors 2022 Writing Challenge. For today, I’ve chosen these colorful doors from Susan Kelly. You can see photos of all the doors available to write about here.
Here’s some colorful doors I saw recently at PS 84, on West 92nd Street.
And some blossoms in Riverside Park.
Your poem perfectly describes that photo, Kerfe! And what a unique idea to use suspended doors as art. I love it! 🙂

Thanks Yvette. I agree, the doors get your attention and also make you think.

Thanks for the entry to the writing challenge. Since you contributed doors, I think you can use your own. I like the door at the school the best, but I really like your poem.
I hope you’re having a nice week.

And I almost picked those doors for my entry but went the Iron gate instead
And enjoyed your lovely spring tree

Sigh, it’s such a long time ago that I did any poetry – love yours. Also I like that mural behind the fence, bight and light colors with a light touch – love it, and the blooming trees are a feast for the eyes! Emille

Kerfe. What loveliness. Of course I loved the art display photos and your poem. I also loved the petals on the ground. Precious. Ephemeral beauty like life. I bless you. xoxo

Thanks Selma. The blossoms are short-lived, but glorious while they last.
